GrantLens is a program evaluation platform that helps funders and the programs they fund prepare, score, and resolve post-award compliance reviews in one place.
A focused walkthrough for your evaluation team. No commitment required.
GrantLens supports the work after an award is made, so monitoring feels like a partnership.
GrantLens moves teams from scattered emails and spreadsheets to one shared view of every evaluation, while keeping the judgment a good review requires.
The demo is built around the questions we hear most from program, compliance, and evaluation teams.
Nutmeg is a Connecticut technology firm that supports HMIS, data quality, and HUD reporting for nonprofits and Continuums of Care, and GrantLens grew out of that work.
GrantLens works alongside the tools Nutmeg already builds for outreach teams, data managers, and Point-in-Time counts, so the same data standards carry through every evaluation.
Nutmeg’s HMIS Software reads CSV exports and flags missing data before reports go to HUD.
Data Quality
Pulls HMIS data into HUD’s Point-in-Time tables and checks it before submission.
PIT Reporting
Most monitoring still runs on email and paper checklists. GrantLens puts the whole review in one place while your evaluators keep the judgment.
BEFORE
AFTER
Evaluators get one consistent workspace across every program. Funded programs get a clear path to upload documents, respond to findings, and see their scores.
A dependable evaluation process does not have to feel rigid, and GrantLens keeps the structure firm while the experience stays human.
One process, seen from the
right angle.
Spend less time chasing paperwork.
Clear expectations without
feeling punitive.
Show exactly how each
score was reached.
Every evaluation follows the same six steps, so programs know what comes next
and your evaluators never lose track of where a review stands.
One connected record
Have a workflow or policy question? A demo is the best way to see how GrantLens fits your program.
GrantLens is a program monitoring and evaluation platform for funders, such as state agencies and Continuums of Care, that review the programs they fund. It is not a grant application system, and it brings document collection, on-site reviews, scoring, and reporting into one shared workflow.
Yes. GrantLens reads the standard HUD CSV export that every HMIS can produce, so it is not tied to one vendor, and implementation includes setup for at least one industry-standard data import so automated scoring works from your first evaluation.
Evaluators schedule the visit, select a sample of client records by HMIS ID, and work through a checklist for each file. Intake, active, and exited clients can each have their own questions, and progress saves as you go.
Yes. Programs can submit a change request on an eligible score and attach supporting documents, and evaluators review it in context. Every request and decision stays in the evaluation record, which keeps the process fair and defensible.
Yes. You build measures, domains, scoring tiers, and required documents to match your contracts, then save them as a template you can reuse for every program of that type, whether that is supportive housing, shelter, or another model.
Each customer’s data is kept separate from every other customer’s, sign-in runs through Auth0 with passkey support, and client files are tracked by HMIS ID, so client names are never stored in GrantLens.
